Five-Color Version of Digital Hybrid Press
Digital/Online
In 2016, Heidelberg-Gallus launched Labelfire 340, which is an eight-color digital production system. It has the capabilities of UV inkjet printing quality and possesses proven inline embellishments. This advanced inkjet system features 1200 dpi inkjet heads which ultimately reduces the total cost of production for any potential user(s).
Now, with the release of an even more advanced version of the 2016 Labelfire 340, the five-color Labelfire E340 has the same reliability and 1200x1200 dpi image quality as the eight-color. The model can be modified and configured to meet the current needs of customers and can provide the lowest cost of entry when getting started with digital-hybrid label printing.
Although some features might be unnecessary, Micheal Ring, head of Digital Solutions at Heidelberg-Gallus is aware and claims “We have many customers who want to get into digital hybrid printing, but do not need the complete high-end, fully-featured configuration that an eight-color Labelfire provides,” He continues, “This new five-color version allows them to get started in the digital arena but still provides the flexibility for expansion in the future while protecting their initial investment.”
