500 Year Old Print Rediscovered

While cataloging items about the history of printing at Reading University, Erika Delbecque found two pages printed in latin from a medieval handbook of 1476. This book was printed by William Caxton, one of the earliest printers, and these pages are among the only surviving pages from his book. Originally, these pages were part of a collection bought by the University in 1997 for £70,000 but were stuffed in the pages of another book until they were found again recently. These sheets have been valued at £100,000
